Aaron turned one today!! I can't believe how quick the past year has gone and all that has happened!! He ejoyed having everyone saying Happy Birthday to him. No so much into gifts but loved the cake and ice cream. He loved the ice cream so much he was shoving it in his mouth and did it so quickly he got brain freeze. Nothing a little bit of cake didn't take care of :) Here are some pics of him and a clip of him getting brain freeze.

Ryan's 1st Day of Preschool
Ryan started preschool this week and is loving it. I don't think I have ever seen a kid so excited to be going to school. He'll be going 3 days a week for 3 hours each day. Not only will he be having fun, it will give me a little bit of a break at home. Aaron naps while he is gone and sometimes Sean will. Here are some pictures of his first day.

Baby Steps
Aaron has finally started taking steps. Before we know it, he'll be running around in circles with the other kids! It was so hard to get a video clip of him walking. Everytime I had the camera ready, he would decide he wanted to crawl. Finally I got it today! ENJOY

Madison's First Day Back to School
Madison started 3rd grade today. I can't believe that the years are going by so fast. She was so excited to get the day started. Keith woke me up at 6:15 asking if we should get her up and I told him no give her about 10 more minutes. He went downstairs for 5 minutes and we he came back up she was up, dress with her back pack on asking if she was late. This is 45 minutes before the bus comes. We got downstairs and ate breakfast, fixed hair, brushed teeth, argued over shoes (GIRLS!!) and the waited patiently for the bus to come. I thought she would be embarrassed to have her mom stand with her to wait for the bus. At first I had her go and I sat on the porch taking pictures, then I asked if she wanted me to come over and she so excitedly said yes. To my surprise she's not embarrassed of me yet!!! I guess I still have a couple of years for that. I can't wait for her to get home to hear all about her 1st day of 3rd grade!

Ryan's B-day
Ryan had a great birthday this year. We had a bowling party for him and all the kids were sooo cute taking their turn. He didn't ask for much. We asked him early in the week what he wanted and he just said a dog leash. We asked what do you need a dog leash for? He said for the dog I want. Keith and I asked again the next night, hoping he would choose something else. His word were "Mommy remember, I'm not asking for anything else because that's all I want". After agonizing over it for the week that is what he got!! He named her Isabella but we are calling her Bella for short. We rescuded her from the shelter and is a shepherd mix. She is 3 months old and already 21 pounds!! She is a great dog and is so good with the kids.

Bowling
Today is James last day with us. We have had so much fun with him. We got to go to the zoo, play at parks, go to the movies, the aquarium and bowling. Lesley, Justin and Trevor joined us today for a game of bowling. Justin was the winner of the game with a score of 78 and Lesley with the low score of 50. No that is not a typo, no one got over a 100. I was however the only one that bowled a strike. In one of the pictures you can see our scores. We all had a lot of fun, even Sean and Aaron!

Trip to the Aquarium
Today I got up the courage to take the boys to the Aquarium alone. I guess I can't be afraid to do things for the meer fact of having to do it with 4 kids. They will miss out on a lot. We had a lot of fun and boys were great. They really enjoyed seeing all the fish and other sea creatures they have. They learned about Sweet Pea & Scooter, the ray sharks. These sharks are close to becoming extinct and they are trying to bread them at the Aquarium. Here are some pictures from our day!

Zoo Trip
Keith and I took the boys and James (my nephew) to the zoo. They all had a really good time. I think their favorite part was brushing and feeding the goats. They got to pet a baby alligator. Although we didn't get to see everything we had fun. Hopefully I'll be able to take James & Ryan one more time before he heads home.
