Madison's Dance Recital 2009

Madison had her end of the year recital this weekend. She did a fantastic job and I can't believe how much she has learned in the past year. She is an amazing dancer and we are so proud of how much she has learned. She really enjoys taking dance and the studio she goes to has wonderful teacher who are patient with the kids.

Here are some clips that we have from her dances.

Ballet-Song: Love me Tender. Ryan was sitting in my lap and seemed to have ants in his pants so it's a little bit of a bumpy ride :)

Tap-Song: Uptown Girl

Jazz-Song: Humuhamumukukua's -It's a Hula Song from High School Musical.

Hip Hop-Song: Can't touch this. The memory on my camera ran out, but you can still see a bit of the hip hop that she has learned. This is the dance they won trophies for at their competition.

How do they grow so fast

For the first time in 2 years I went and got pictures of the kids taken. The last pics we had taken Ryan was 1 so we didn't have any of Sean or Aaron yet. It was an adventure since I took them by myself (Keith stayed home to study for his last CPA test). Ryan was such a ham throughout the picture taking and Sean was a little scared. Madison was the pretty princess that she is. Aaron was wonderful and laughed the entire time. We managed to get some really cute picture.
Madison-7 years
Ryan-3 years
Sean-16 months
Aaron-4 months

Enjoy!

Show me Hannah Montana

Madison and I were playing around the other day and put her Hannah Montana wig on Aaron. He thought it was so funny. Sean didn't like it so much (I couldn't even get a picture of him)

Anyway I thought I would share some pic of Aaron playing Hannah Montana.

Family Update

We'll we have had a lot happen in the past couple of months. Of course as you all know we had our newest addition.
Aaron is doing very well. He was in the hosptial under the bili lights, but is better now. He had breast milk jaundice which is different from regular jaundice. So I was not able to nurse him, but he is doing just as well. At 2 months of age he is eating 6 oz. bottles. He is a heafty boy.
Keith and I have put our house on the market and already have a contract on our new house. We will be in our new home at the latest mid February.
Keith has taken & passed his first 2 CPA exams. He has two more to take (and pass) before he gets his CPA license. He has them scheduled for January & February.
I have started back to work since having Aaron and things are going well. I was able to work out a schedule that I can work 8-12 everyday and have the rest of the day with kids.
Madison is 7 going on 17. She is such the girly girl and I have to admit I'm loving it. She is currently taking dance lesson (tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop). She will be in 2 competition and the beginning of the new year. She is doing really good in school and enjoys all the friends that she has made.
Ryan is 3 and we are working on getting him potty trained. We have good days and bad days with it, but he'll get it soon enough. He is such a ham and loves that he has 2 brothers to play with. He is teaching Sean so many lovely boy things, like play fight and how to hover over Aaron and just shake his body. He thinks it's just the funniest thing and that Aaron "loves" it. It scares me to death that he is going to loose his balance and fall right on top of him.
Sean is 1 and just chills out for most of the day. He is such a calm kid and pretty much tries to keep up with Madison and Ryan. He is a big daddy's boy and gets so excited when Keith gets home at night. His favorite game to play right now is chase with Madison and Ryan. They will run around the kitchen/living room and Sean just tries so hard to keep up, but by the time he gets around his first corner the other 2 have already passed him for their second circle.

We'll that's pretty much the jist of what's going on right now. I'll keep everyone updated with all the craziness that happens at the Hatfield House.

Hello!!!

Believe it or not with 4 kids I have managed to find time to finally set up our family blog. I hope I can keep up with it as good and Tara and Lindi keep up with theirs.
